Finding Home Initiative

UltraBarrio is thrilled to partner with Houston Land Bank - HLB on The Finding Home Initiative, a transformative effort to create affordable and resilient housing in Houston’s underserved neighborhoods. This exciting initiative is supported by Fannie Mae and the CenterPoint Energy Foundation.

Our first community workshop was held on December 13, where the materials UltraBarrio prepared played a key role in gathering diverse perspectives that reflect the needs and aspirations of the communities. Together with distinguished architects GSMA architecture, Architangent, and Auburn University Rural Studio, we collected feedback that will guide the next steps in the development of sustainable, accessible, and context responsive housing.
